When it comes to making a documentary, interviews are a key component in the process. Earlier this month, we captured four critical interviews for our film. We're thrilled to share some behind-the-scenes photos and stories. Our dedicated crew, comprised of passionate filmmakers, was the backbone of our production day.

"Blind Momentum" centers on the incredible journey of Laura King Edwards, a lifelong writer, dynamic public speaker, accomplished runner and passionate rare disease advocate. Laura’s on a remarkable mission to break the world record for the fastest blindfolded half marathon by a female. Laura's unwavering determination and passion for the sport of running, combined with her deep commitment to the rare disease community, is truly inspiring.
During a 10-hour production day in October, we had the privilege of capturing Laura's powerful story through an intimate interview. Her words resonated with a passion for life, an unyielding spirit and an unwavering drive to overcome adversity.
Expanding Our View
In addition to Laura, we conducted key interviews with some of the most important people in her journey. These interviews will serve as the cornerstone of our story, offering insights into the challenges and triumphs that have defined Laura’s path.
Laura's husband, John, provided a heartfelt perspective on the unwavering support and love that sustains their relationship.
Sharon, Laura's mother, shared stories of Laura's childhood and the origins of her tenacious spirit.
Andrew, Laura's exceptional running guide, opened up about the unique bond they share — a partnership built on trust, communication and a shared commitment to achieving the extraordinary.
Our production day for "Blind Momentum" was a day filled with inspiration, not only from Laura but also from her incredible support system. We witnessed the strength of human connections, the power of determination and the impact of advocacy. As we continue to work on the documentary, these interviews and moments will provide a profound and authentic view of Laura's world and her brave journey.
